To address the full scope of issues that will support thriving people, key stakeholders from government, environmental groups, healthcare enterprises, and the food industry must work together to find solutions that make the best use of our resources.
To this end, the Center is working to create a future in which:
- Health becomes the lens through which the government, environmental groups, healthcare enterprises, corporations, and the food industry make decisions about producing, transporting, and purchasing food.
- There is ample access to foods that harmonize both what the planet can supply and what consumers demand.
- Government and corporate policies place a priority on maximizing human health and wellness.
- Consumers choose a greater diversity of foods, which will better support our health, the oceans, and the environment.
